"I Can't Believe it's a Grammy (Grammy... Grammy... Grammy...)"

The Grammys, to their infinite credit, nominated R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet (Chapters 1-5)" for Best Longform Music Video. Amazing!

With moves like this, they're giving The People's Choice Awards a real run for their money.

"Now I'm nom'd for a Grammy, and if I don't win one, I'ma shoot somebody!"

Nobody important. Just Bob Dylan, The Ramones, Bruce Springsteen and Brian Wilson.

Dylan? Springsteen? The Ramones? Brian Wilson? Bah humbug! Who needs musical genius when you've got the apparently never-ending marvel that is "Trapped in the Closet"???

And R. is already the front-runner for next year's Grammy as well with chapters 6-10 having come out (no pun intended.) I'm still trying to figure out if R. is a certified musical visionary or just certifiably insane (I'm leaning towards the latter but I'm trying to keep an open mind.)

You're right, Michael. At this rate, he could take home this award every year, in perpetuity, as long as he keeps releasing new chapters (and I hope he never stops doing that).

With Chapters 1-5, I thought he was certifiably insane. But after seeing his most recent installments, I'm willing to say that he's a certified musical visionary who just happens to be certifiably insane.
